FCC offers many opportunities for involvement to suit any age or area of interest. We believe service and fellowship are key to deepening your relationship with Christ. Check out our current opportunities and join a ministry today!
Building Better Relationships (BBR)
Building Better Relationships is designed to strengthen marriages, relationships, and people through the power of scripture, prayer, and fellowship. This ministry meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday and will include a variety of events to help you cultivate relationships centered on Christ.
In partnership with Poplar Springs Elementary School, our backpack program provides local children with weekend meals during the school year. Your $200 tax deductible donation will provide a school year's worth of nutritious, child-friendly meals that feed not only the body, but the spirit as well. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a child today! There are also opportunities for delivery drivers. Contact the FCC office if you feel called to this ministry!
Young at Heart
Are you 50 or older? Young at Heart is for you! Our group meets the second Thursday of each month (with the exception of January and February) for meals, outings and fellowship. Events include Fall Foliage outings, holiday meals and much more! Please check the Upcoming Events calendar and join us soon!
This ministry welcomes ladies of all ages! The Ladies Ministry generally meets on the third Monday of each month at 7 pm to enjoy a time of food and fellowship. Our ongoing projects include facilitation of communion preparation, missionary sponsorship and goody boxes and care baskets for college students and shut-ins. Come join us for an evening of fellowship and fun as we continue our outreach to our church and our community!
Is cooking your thing? Our Care Ministry provides meals to the people of FCC during times of sickness, emergency, or family death. If you would like to participate in this ministry, but are short on time, pizza, take out, or gift cards are always of great help. Care Ministry sign up sheets are located at the Welcome Center.
Children / Teen Volunteer
If you have a heart for kids or teens, please see either of our ministers to discuss the volunteer application process. They welcome the opportunity to speak with you!
